Pass Along Help
Our first Traverse party was on January 18, 2012 and it was a huge success! We had a great turn out and were able to assist a great organization. Our host, Heather Crane, chose The Parker Autism Foundation as the spotlight charity and a portion of our proceeds from that evening went to this non profit. Please check out their website for more information. www.parkerautismfoundation.org
Restaurant Table 274 was gracious enough to host our second shopping party on February 22, 2012. Great food, new friends and shopping lent to a successful evening of giving back to our community. A portion of the proceeds from that evening benefited Charlotte Family Housing. Check out this great organization for more information. www.charlottefamilyhousing.org
Amelie's French Bakery was the next spot for our Spring shopping party on March 31, 2012. The atrium behind Amelie's was the perfect location for us to set up and allow customers, new and old, to shop, shop, shop! Amelie's chose United Family Services Domestic Violence Shelter as the spotlight charity. www.charlottedvshelter.org
Make a Difference
The word Traverse means to "pass along". Our mission is to "Shop and pass along hope". As you enjoy an evening with friends we also want to remember causes that are close to our hearts. With the sale of each item purchased, a percentage will go towards a charity within our area. We hope our consignors, hosts and friends will continue to spread our message as we grow.
